H2H CONTESTS
H2H EXPLAINED:
H2H Contests are one-on-one contests between the Player and StatHero (Winner Take All).
For all H2H contests, StatHero will reveal their team and players (LINEUPS) for all sports daily for NBA, MLB, NHL.
For NFL/NCAA FB contests, LINEUPS will be offered daily/weekly and active all season. H2H Contests are 1 on 1 Contests between the Player and StatHero (Winner Take All)
DYNAMIC SALARIES
Salaries for each player will be dynamic, therefore, ALL tickets will be LOCKED at time of submission. No edits will be allowed by StatHero or the Player once ticket is locked. Head to Head tickets are non-refundable and NO withdrawals are allowed once tickets are submitted and locked.
StatHero offers FULL PLAYER PROTECTION on lineups. If a player is ruled OUT, before game time, every player will have the ability to replace their player – FREE of charge.
StatHero will also be protected if a H2H player is ruled OUT. StatHero may switch out player for like salary.
H2H ODDS EXPLAINED:
StatHero offers H2H contest with MULTIPLES attached on the top right of the contest card. Each player will have the opportunity to win those odds, upon beating StatHero.
Odds are handicapped based on the salary cap offered to the player compared to the salary cap StatHero has used to create the StatHero lineup for that contest. The difference in cap will always be posted.
StatHero Odds will pay out up to 10 to 1.
H2H Promotional Contests:
All Head-To-Head bonus and promotional contest prizes above the the standard payout amount are paid as BONUS DOLLARS. (e.g., a promotional contest stating a 2-for-1 payout, the double part of the payout are bonus dollars).
STATHERO H2H RISK EXPLAINED:
Unlike a sportsbook, StatHero does NOT have the ability to take an even amount on both sides on our H2H contests. StatHero’s risk will always be 100% one-sided.
All StatHero Contests H2H/Pick'Em are -150, due to the advantage players receive.
StatHero volunteers to give players an edge by showing every lineup before you play, which increases your odds of winning 4X more.
H2H NOTES:
Any bad Lines, salary discrepancies or bad odds, StatHero reserves the right to refund the contest before the start time and/or adjust once contests are completed.
If a PLAYER or STATHERO player is listed to start, upon creation of contest, but a coaches decision does not allow that player to start or play - contest will be refunded. This is for PICK 'EM and H2H Contests.
PICK'EM GAMEPLAY
PICK'EM
StatHero PICK'EM puts 2 rosters against each other in a fantasy style matchup. The player (YOU) uses skill to determine which side will win in a fantasy H2H contest of a particular sport. All Scoring is Fantasy Scoring.
For Pick'Em ANY Points Given to Either Side are Fantasy Points.
PICK'EM ODDS EXPLAINED
In order to create even contests, StatHero may give bonus points to make a team handicapped before the matchup begins. The bonus points create more skill to pick the winning side.
PICK'EM X
Pick'Em X allows you to pick multiple Pick'Em lineups with increased odds, but you MUST win all of your picks to get the prize. To activate Pick'Em X simply hit the switch!
Pick'Em X Payouts will be determined on the odds chosen. The odds a player chooses to win, will dictate the amount of players needed. In the event of a PUSH, the Pick'Em X odds will payout less odds, if all picks are winners.
SURVIVOR CONTESTS
SURVIVOR EXPLAINED:
In StatHero’s TEAM survivor contests, players will create a lineup by selecting 4 to 5 players, depending on the sport chosen, from 1 TEAM of their choice to challenge StatHero per round. The only exception will be Round 1 of each contest.
In round 1 of each contest, players must choose 1 WILDCARD player to add to their lineup from a different team. Each Round players MUST select a different team and CANNOT use a team more than once in a contest.
Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual player’s team score vs StatHero’s team score. If a player’s team has more points at the end of the round vs StatHero, player moves on to next round.
Money earned per round is determined by the participants that are eliminated for that round. Each player’s selected team DOES NOT have to win their real world game in order to move on to the next round.
If a Player survives a round the contest DOES NOT end. Players must continue to make picks, until they are eliminated. NBA/MLB/NHL Survivor Contests can last a different amount of rounds, depending on contest entered.
ALL SURVIVOR CONTEST OVERLAY is Paid in Bonus Dollars
Lineup Requirement:
Lineups for NFL TEAM Contests will consist of 5 flex players on the team of the players choosing. NFL contests will consist of 5 players, with each team automatically getting the QB of the team of their choosing. (Example: QB + 4 chosen flex players on that team)
Lineups for MLB & NBA TEAM contests will consist of 4 FLEX players on the team of players choosing.
PGA PLAYER contests will consist of 5 individual golfers. Players must choose 5 new golfers every round of the tournament as they survive, StatHero will do the same.
If a golfer chosen is postponed for any reason, as long as a team has a mathematically, realistic chance to beat StatHero, they will advance to next round. (Realistic meaning no hole-in-ones on multiple holes)
Every contest, will have a MVP. MVPs receive 1.5x in every lineup.
PLAYER SURVIVOR CONTESTS (Salary cap):
PLAYER SURVIVOR CONTESTS will have a ELIMINATION-based gameplay w/Salary Cap. Players will have the opportunity to choose players on multiple teams to create a lineup. The players chosen in your lineup can only be used once in a contest and those players will be eliminated from any potential future roster, as you survive. The rest of StatHero survivor rules apply. Salaries and Projections will be Dynamic and different contestants may have different salaries for players. You will be required to edit your ENTIRE ROSTER, if you choose to make an edit to your lineup.
Survivor Notes
Every contest StatHero offers will allow the FINAL 10% of Survivors to “split the pot” if it is voted unanimously by the remaining players. If it is not unanimous, the contest will continue until it is unanimous or until there is 1 remaining survivor remaining.
In the event, StatHero beats everyone in a given round, the pot will be SPLIT amongst the people eliminated. At the end of each regular season, all current StatHero contests will be concluded and remaining survivors will split the pot.
All ties vs StatHero will lose for Survivor Pools. Ties in DFS Sportsbook will be a PUSH, however StatHero still takes hosting fee.
In StatHero SURVIVOR contests, players can only choose a team ONCE in a contest. You cannot select the same team more than once in any contest.
PLAYERS & TEAMS
Participants will get the choice of players expected to be on the active roster for any team scheduled to play in the contest. Occasionally a player may be missing from the Player Pool due to trades, injuries, or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the rare event that there is a mistake within the players or odds offered that would significantly impact game quality, StatHero reserves the right to correct the mistake after contests for that game have become available. This may result in valid lineups becoming invalid. This would most likely occur shortly after the teams and players become available, far in advance of the contest start time, and participants who have entered contests for the round prior to the adjustment will be notified via email or refund notification on their player logs.
LINEUP & TEAM EDITS
H2H CONTESTS
For H2H Contests, there are NO Edits for StatHero or Player allowed. Once you are submitted, you are locked. Only Exception for StatHero and Player is if a Player on their Roster is Ruled OUT. Player can replace their player with like salary and StatHero may do the same. On ODDs contests, if there is not an equal player for StatHero, contest will be refunded.
In the rare case that a game starts before the scheduled start time, all players within that game will become locked as soon as our feed reflects that the game has begun. Additionally, any lineup swaps including players from the game that were made after the real-life start time of the game will result in those lineups being disqualified and refunded, unless StatHero approves prior to new player start time.
SURVIVOR CONTESTS
For New Survivor Contests, LINEUPS may be edited at any time leading up before the players scheduled time of the game for each round. Each team chosen will become “locked” as soon as StatHero’s game starts. Lineups will be locked when the player’s team game starts.
When a player’s game has finished for any given round and they have qualified for the next round, that player will then be able to pick their NEXT ROUND when StatHero’s pick for the next round is shown. A countdown will show how much time each player has to get their picks in.
For existing TEAM and PLAYER Survivor Contests, a player may select their team after StatHero’s game starts.
In StatHero’s SURVIVOR Contests, a player can edit their team may at any time BEFORE StatHero’s scheduled time of the game for each round for NEW Contests.
If a player forgets or fails to enter their SURVIVOR lineup for a particular contest on time, that player will automatically be eliminated from the contest with 0 points. No exceptions will be made.
SUSPENDED OR SHORTENED GAMES
CANCELLED, POSTPONED, AND RESCHEDULED GAMES:
In the event that a game is canceled, postponed, or rescheduled to a time outside of the original Scoring Period, the players affected from that game will be disabled from the contest and the players will be refunded their entry fee.
Any H2H or Pick'Em Contest that has postponed, cancelled or rescheduled games on PLAYER OR StatHero’s Chosen LINEUP, will be refunded.
StatHero may choose to adjust their Team or Scoring Period for a Game Set at their sole discretion to accommodate schedule changes at any time before 9:00am ET on the date the Game Set is scheduled to start and/or if the adjustment would move the Game Set start time by 15 minutes or less.
COVID-19 RULES:
*Covid-19 suspended or postponed games chosen by StatHero will be immediately changed to accommodate the said contest. When making StatHero’s new TEAM or PLAYER choice, the choice will not be chosen by another active player. If StatHero is not able to change team, every player will advance to next round.
**In the event, more than 3 games are postponed in a single day, ALL players will advance to the next round in all team sports for Survivor Contests.
Any games that are disabled will be indicated on the StatHero application. Emails and other notifications may also be used to notify users of disabled games.
SHORTENED GAME NOTES
If a Game Set includes only one active game but this was not known until after the contest start time then contests for this Game Set will not be canceled.
Games are “known” to be canceled or postponed once their status is updated as such by StatHero’s’ stats-provider, SPORTRADAR.
PGA Rounds that are Postponed will only advance teams that are still have a realistic, mathematical chance to beat StatHero for that given round. (Realistic meaning: no hole-in-ones on multiple holes)
In the event of postponement and StatHero does not finish, Round will continue, until Round is over and players will advance to next full round.
MLB SUSPENDED GAMES
StatHero uses official MLB statistics and only includes statistics from games those organizations deem to be official. If the MLB declare a game “suspended” then the statistics generated before the game is suspended will count in Game Sets containing said game. Any statistics generated on a later date when the game resumes will not be included
STATHERO NOTES
ALL StatHero contests will have an entry max limit cap per contest.
Participation in each contest must be made only as specified in the Terms of Use. Failure to comply with these Terms of Use will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.
SCORING PERIOD NOTES
StatHero may choose to adjust the Scoring Period for a Game Set at their sole discretion to accommodate schedule changes at any time before 12:00am ET on the date the Game Set is scheduled.
If a game is rescheduled to a time outside of the original Scoring Period, StatHero may disable the game or adjust the Scoring Period to maintain the inclusion of the rescheduled game… For example, if a Sunday 12:00 NFL game is rescheduled to 7:55 PM, StatHero may move the results of the contest to accommodate the rescheduled game.
The Scoring Period for NBA is defined as the timeframe between the scheduled start of the first game within the Game Set and 11:59pm ET on the date of the start time of the last scheduled game within the Game Set.
In the event of NO CONTEST for MMA, Points accumulated during the fight will count towards players and StatHero's score. No points will be awarded for decision and/or winning bonus points.
The Scoring Period for MLB is defined as the timeframe between the scheduled start of the first game within the Game Set and 11:59pm ET on the date of the start time of the last scheduled game within the Game Set.
INJURY/GAME PLAYER PROTECTION (New Rule)
Effective 1/1/2023: For All Player and StatHero H2H Lineups players will be protected from early game injuries, weather, etc. If a player halts playing before the following timeframe, play will be refunded.
Football: 1st Quarter - If a player gets injured and doesn't return, play will be refunded. 1 Quarter is qualifier for every player.
Basketball: 1st Half - If a player gets injured within 1st Half and doesn't return, play will be refunded. 1st Half is qualifier for every player.
Hockey: 1st Period - If a player gets injured within 1st Period and doesn't return, play will be refunded. 1st Period is qualifier for every player.
Golf: If a player gets injured or withdraws before completing 15 holes, play will be refunded. 15 holes is qualifier for every player.
*please note: Any decision or event that causes player not to qualify, play will be refunded.
Odds H2H Contest
If StatHero's roster is affected by injury where a player gets injured for majority of game, the affected Odds H2H contest will turn to EVEN Odds upon payout.
NFL SURVIVOR
For all NFL SURVIVOR contests, StatHero will reveal their team and players by 10:00AM/EST every Tuesday morning.
NFL contests will be offered weekly and active all season with NFL contests offered. Please note: NFL teams that play Thursday Night Football will NEVER be an option for StatHero in any NEW SURVIVOR contest that is offered. Thursday Night Teams may be chosen by StatHero after Round 1.
If StatHero’s game is subject to any cancellation or postponed, and StatHero is unable to switch to a different team that no player has chosen, StatHero will receive a 0 for the round and each participant will advance as long as they are in the positive. StatHero rules apply.
Before the start of StatHero’s TEAM game, StatHero can change their lineup at any time (never the team) due to player injuries or lineup matchups. In Salary Cap Contests, StatHero reserves the right to change lineups based on any player injury, availability, minutes playing, or any other circumstance player selected may not hit projected points.
NFL TEAM contests will be WEEKLY Rounds. As players advance, they must continue to make their NEW PLAYER picks before the next round of the week.

PGA SURVIVOR
For all PGA PLAYER contests, StatHero will reveal their team and players by 10:00AM/EST every Monday morning for the upcoming PGA Tournament for that week. PGA PLAYER contests will be offered weekly and be active all season.
If StatHero’s PGA Players are subject to any cancellation or postponed, StatHero will change picks before the start of tournament. If StatHero does not switch in time, StatHero will receive a 0 for the round, for those players, and each participant will advance as long as they are in the positive. Note: In this situation, player’s will still not be able to use the players chosen in the round again in the contest moving forward. StatHero rules apply.
For PGA Tournaments, StatHero CANNOT change their lineup at any time, unless there is a player injury or withdrawal before tournament begins.
Lineups may be edited at any time leading up to a tournament. Each individual golfer will become “locked” at the scheduled start time of the tournament. A locked golfer cannot be added or removed from a roster spot. Locked roster spots for all entries are displayed in contest scoreboards.
Golf contest start times are subject to change based on the time of the first tee time. In the rare case that a tournament starts before the scheduled start time, all golfers will become locked as soon as our feed reflects that the tournament has begun. Additionally, any swaps that were made after the real-life start time of the tournament will result in those lineups being disqualified and refunded.
Playoff Holes will not count towards final scoring, with the exception of the “finishing position” scoring. For example, the golfer who wins the tournament will receive the sole award of 1st place points, but will not accrue points for their scoring result in the individual playoff holes.
PGA contests will only be 4 rounds.
As players advance, they must continue to make their NEW PLAYER picks before the next round of the tournament.

MMA
In salary cap H2H contests, participants will create a lineup by selecting players listed in the Player Pool. Each player listed has an assigned salary and players play StatHero with or without ODDS attached.
Contest results will be determined by the total points accumulated by each individual lineup entry (scoring rules summarized below).
Participation in each contest must be made only as specified in the Terms of Use. Failure to comply with these Terms of Use will result in disqualification and, if applicable, prize forfeiture.
Scoring Notes
- Significant Strikes are any Distance Strike or Clinch/Ground Strikes that are considered "Power Strikes" by official scorers.
- A Significant Strike will count as both a strike and a significant strike and will be worth a total of 0.2 Pts.
- A Knockdown is awarded to a fighter who knocks his/her opponent down due to debilitation for what the official scorers consider an appreciable amount of time.
Player Pool
The Player Pool will consist of all MMA fighters expected to be on the fight card for the upcoming event. Occasionally a fighter may be missing from the Player Pool due to late injury or other unforeseen circumstances.
In the rare event that there is a mistake within the Player Pool that would significantly impact game quality, StatHero reserves the right to correct the mistake after contests for that Game Set have become available. This may result in valid lineups becoming invalid. This would most likely occur shortly after the Player Pool becomes available, far in advance of the contest start time, and participants who have entered contests for the Game Set prior to the adjustment will be notified VIA TEXT NOTIFICATION.
A "Game Set" is a set of games used for contests; each contest is tied to one Game Set. Contests tied to the same Game Set can be created at different times. Therefore, game policies are based on the timing of a Game Set being made available, not each individual contest.
In cases where a fighter withdraws or a fight is canceled, replacement fighters may be added to the player pool up to 24 hours before the event start time. Withdrawn fighters will be labeled as out ("O") and players will have the opportunity to replace fighter before matchups begin. If a Card has been changed and fights are different, players will get refunded if their fighters or StatHero fighters are impacted.
ALL Lineups will be LOCKED upon submission. No edits will be allowed, unless a player's fighter has withdrawn.

STATHERO SCORING NOTES
For MLB, hitting statistics for pitchers will not be counted, and pitching statistics for Hitters will not be counted.
All Final StatHero Scoring and Prize Distribution will score no later than the following day by 10:00AM/EST for MLB & NBA contests, by 10:00AM/EST on Tuesday for NFL, by 8:00PM/EST at the end of every round for PGA, and 10:00AM/EST on Wednesday for NASCAR.

In order to register a STATHERO account you are required to provide your full name, address, date of birth, email address and telephone number. If your identity cannot be validated, you will be required to submit additional information or documentation.
In order to ensure fair play in our contests, STATHERO prohibits users from opening up more than one account. If for some reason you forget your password or username please contact [email protected]
Please note: if the same individual sets up multiple accounts, STATHERO will deactivate all accounts except one, and any potential winnings may not be honored from all accounts. Any accounts that are set up illegitimately will be deactivated and winnings will not be honored.
If you feel your account has been compromised or you need to close your account for any reason please contact STATHERO support.
HOW CAN I MAKE A DEPOSIT?
STATHERO accepts all major credit/debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Players will be able to choose between Direct Deposit, Paper Check, or Electronic Check for payout for all of StatHero’s contests and withdrawals.
WHY DOES STATHERO ASK FOR THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY # AND NOT OTHERS?
StatHero does not ask every player, but StatHero sometimes will need an extra level of verification to prove your identity. We take every measure possible to protect our players. Your information will NOT be kept once you’ve been verified from our 3rd party verification process.
HOW DO I USE MY STATHERO BONUS DOLLARS?
Bonus dollars can be used on H2H and PICK'EM gameplays. Deposit Bonuses must match real dollar play before a withdrawal can be initiated. (Example a 50% promo: Deposit $100, Get $50 in bonus dollars > Player Must play $100, before they can initiate withdrawal)
DOES MY TEAM NEED TO WIN IN ORDER TO BEAT STATHERO IN SURVIVOR CONTESTS?
NO. Your team selected does not have to win their real world game in order for you to survive to the next round. Your players just need to have more points than STATHERO at the end of the day.
Keep in mind, if you tie STATHERO in a contest you will be eliminated. All ties vs STATHERO will lose. This is to prevent players from picking the same team as STATHERO.
FOR SURVIVOR, WHAT HAPPENS IF I SURVIVE A ROUND IN A CONTEST? WHAT THEN?
When you survive a round, you get paid. The amount you get paid depends on how many players were eliminated for that round. When you survive a round, you MUST continue to make picks for the next round because the contests continues, until there is 1 survivor(s). If you forget to make your picks, you are eliminated. (Survivor rules)
PGA contests will only last 4 days for each tournament. You will still be required to make picks daily if you survive.

WHAT IS STATHERO’S WITHDRAWAL POLICY?

WHERE CAN I PLAY STATHERO?
In order to participate in STATHERO contests you must be physically located in the following 31 states: AK, AL, AR, AZ, CA, DC, FL, GA, KS, KY, MA, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, WI, WV, WY, and UT. If you are not physically located in these states, you will be ineligible to participate in STATHERO contests.
You do not need to be in approved states to register for a player account, access your account, or to deposit or withdraw funds. However, in order to play real money games you must be in approved states.
I AM A RESIDENT OF APPROVED STATES, CAN I PLAY FOR REAL MONEY WHEN TRAVELING ELSEWHERE IN US?
You must be physically located in allowed states to play for real money on StatHero. Once you leave any approved state borders, you will be unable to play real money games on StatHero.
WHY DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE A W-9 FORM BEFORE WITHDRAWING?
If you win $600 or more annually in StatHero contests, you will be required to complete a W-9 form. StatHero uses this form to submit the proper tax form, if necessary.
CAN I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT IN UNAPPROVED STATES TO MAKE DEPOSIT OR WITHDRAWAL REQUESTS?
Yes, you may access your account from outside jurisdiction borders, but playing real money games outside of jurisdiction borders is not allowed.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE AN APPROVED STATE IN THE MIDDLE OF A CONTEST SESSION?
If you leave an approved state during your contest, you will no longer be eligible to continue playing and your session will be terminated. StatHero will need to confirm you are physically located in allowed state in order for your session to resume.
You must ENTER all contests in an approved state. Once entered, your contest will be live.
IF I’M LOCATED WITHIN ALLOWED STATE, BUT NEAR THE STATE BORDERS, WILL I BE ACCURATELY LOCATED WITHIN THE ALLOWED STATE?
In most cases, yes, however if you are less than a half a mile from the border, you may be blocked from play and will need to move further away from border to try again.
WHY IS MY ACCOUNT/NUMBER BLACKLISTED?
You may be on a list of blocked accounts/devices or phone numbers due to suspicious activity associated with your account, device or phone number. Your account could also be restricted for reasons related to responsible gaming. Please contact [email protected] for further details.
I AM BEING INCORRECTLY LOCATED OUTSIDE OF MY STATE, WHAT DO I DO?
If you believe that you are within state borders and you are being restricted from real money gaming on a mobile phone or tablet, make sure that your device’s Location Services are turned on. Enabling Wi-Fi, GPS and/or cellular data on the device can also assist us to successfully locate you.

IF I’M IN APPROVED STATE BORDERS ON AN ANDROID PHONE, AND HAVEN’T BEEN ACCURATELY LOCATED WITHIN THE STATE, IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO TO CORRECT THE ERROR?
If you’re trying to play on an Android device, and not being accurately located, then you may need to clear your cache from your mobile in order to be accurately located. To do this, go to Settings > Name of app used to access gaming service (gaming app or browser app) > and select Clear Cache. Another easy way to clear the cache across all apps on your phone is to download an app from the ‘Play Store’ store for this such as App Cache Cleaner.
HOW DO I DISABLE ADB CONNECTION ON MY ANDROID DEVICE?
Android Debug Bridge Connection (ADB) is a development tool that gives the ability to remote into the device and alter location data. Thus utilizing of ADB connection on your Android is not allowed.
For the user to successfully pass geolocation checks, ADB functionality should be disabled by navigating to the following toggle switch:
Android Settings > Developer options > Enable USB Debugging > OFF
I HAVE A ROOTED/JAILBROKEN MOBILE DEVICE. CAN I STILL PLAY?
